What is the difference between page visits and page impressions?
Page visits are recorded in the expire cookie and accrue when your Webvisitor visits your site (as opposed to a page within the site) during the browser session. The number of page visits will only increase if the user comes to your website, leaves/closes the browser and then returns at a later point.
Page impressions are recorded in a local storage variable and increase by one every time a page (where the widget is integrated) is loaded, so navigating and reloading pages increase that counter.
Both figures are not linked to the number of chat sessions that took place with your Webvisitors. They can also change and increase outside of a running chat session. The numbers will reset when your Webvisitor deletes the browser cache and cookies.
