Why do I need an Inbound URL?
When you send a message to your Contact while they're offline, it's necessary to have an Inbound URL in your email notification so they can easily jump back into the chat.
This Inbound URL is also used when Contacts want to access an older Conversation. As part of the re-authentication process, they will receive a token via email. The Inbound URL link in these emails will then take them to your website.
Please provide the URL to your website in your Widget Editor under the tab "General" > 'Inbound URL':
Please provide a link that returns a plain 200 response code. A URL that redirects several times is not compatible with our validation process.
